Aaron will be a part of our panel discussion along with fellow NFL retirees Wali Rainer, Billy McMullen, Dion Foxx and Bruce Smith, who will discuss their lives and health after turning 40 and retiring from the NFL.

Attendees must be present at the time the winners are called to earn their prize. Those who are not present forfeit their prize, and a new winner will be announced.

Why the Cancer and Men’s Health Awareness Fair is Important to You.

Prostate cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in men and is the second leading cause of cancer related deaths. According to the Hampton Roads Prostate Health Forum (HRPHF), 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer; and for Black men, the risk of dying from low-grade prostate cancer is double that of any other race. We hope to use the opportunity to encourage healthier lifestyles for all by promoting ways to live healthier lives physically and mentally.

Event Schedule:
  • Educational panel discussions, starting at 9am, hosted by HRPHF will be conducted for those seeking information about detecting and/or living with prostate cancer.
  • Another panel will feature Aaron Brooks and fellow NFL retirees like Wali Rainer, Billy McMullen, Dion Foxx and Bruce Smith, who will discuss their lives and health after turning 40 and retiring from the NFL.
